NXL Announces a Change of Course for the 2021 Season
Players, Coaches, and Sponsors, As many of you know, it was our intention to run a multi-nation Paintball Champions Cup at the end of the 2021 season which was to be held in January of 2022. Given the extended travel and event restrictions still in place throughout much of Europe and the uncertainty of how many tournaments we will be able to host, we are canceling the 2022 NXL Paintball Champions Cup. We will run the 2021 NXL Season as we have in past seasons with prizes being awarded to the top finishers of each event. There will be a season-long points race for the NXL Series Champions which will conclude at the end of the 2021 NXL World Cup. It is our intention to run the 2022 season with the goal for teams to earn an invitation to the January 2023 NXL Paintball Champions Cup. The 2021 US NXL Season Schedule remains the same with two NXL Amateur Open events (one having already been held in Texas last month) and four NXL Major events (including the NXL World Cup).
