NXL™ POSTS PLAYER RULES IN FAQ SECTION. Due to the introduction of the new teams into the NXL, the League has posted important rules for the players. These rules have been in effect since the inception of the League in December 2002 and a few have been modified slightly in the last three years. The franchise team owners have been aware of these rules but in fairness to the new teams, Commissioner Mike Ratko has posted them on the website for everyone to see. NXL™ ANNOUNCES EXPANSION PLANS FOR '06. The NXL intends to accomodate up to 16 teams in 2006. A prize package upto $75,000 will be paid out at each event. The new teams will do not have to be franchises. Invitations to the new teams, schedules, and entry fee details will be forthcoming. (Nov 28/05)

BALTIMORE TRAUMA WINS THE PRESIDENT'S CUP - the NXL™ World Championship for 2005. In two of the most exciting and evenly matched games of X Ball ever played, Baltimore overcame all odds to beat the Boston Red Legion in two-straight. Click HERE for the scores.(Oct. 30/05)

The first game of the semi finals saw Boston very narrowly edge Detroit while Baltimore fought from behind to beat Oakland. Game 2 (and 3 if necessary) will be played on Saturday, October 29. Check out the RESULTS and SCHEDULE pages for all the details. (Oct. 28/05)

The semi finals start Friday, October 27 with Boston and Detroit waiting for the completion of the Oakland/Philadelphia and Baltimore/LA series to determine who they will play. Boston beat New York in two-straight, though very close, games and Detroit took Chicago in two-straight as well.(Oct. 27/05)

Activities at the 2006 NXL Playoffs in Orlando have been suspended due to Hurricane Wilma. This action was mandated by the Reedy Creek local government and Disney's Wide World of Sports. This suspension of activity is expected to be lifted late Monday afternoon or evening and will not affect the schedule since the qualifying rounds were determined in two-straight games. The NXL opens games to paintball video crews. In an unprecidented move, Mike Ratko - Commissioner, has indicated that the teams have approved a motion to allow video of the NXL playoffs in Orlando this October. Ratko states that the change in rules was possible because earlier contractual restrictions had been lifted. (Oct. 5/05)
