In an effort to better serve the teams participating in this event with the screening process at their time of departure, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Orlando International Airport advises participants to adhere to the procedures noted below.
Sealed gas cylinders are PROHIBITED, regardless of the pressure level. They are only considered empty if the valve has been removed resulting in an open end that would allow for officers to look inside the cylinder.
Realistic replicas of firearms and compressed air guns are NOT allowed through the checkpoint but can be transported in checked baggage.
TSA requests that if a passenger checks-in more than one bag, the passenger consolidate the paintball gear (marker, cylinders, etc.) into one bag to reduce the number of bags requiring additional inspection that can cause significant congestion in the baggage handling system.
